Statement regarding Industrial Action 30th November

York College Students’ Union support the sentiments behind the Industrial Action on the 30th November as poor pensions would undermine staff morale in the College and discourage high quality staff from remaining in or joining the Educational profession, furthermore impacting on teaching and learning and the best student experience within the College.

This unfair Pensions deal also discourages our students from joining public sector professions, something which we believe would be detrimental for hundreds of aspiring doctors, nurses, teachers and other public sector workers in the College.

Hey everyone it has been am amazing week with children in need and at the minute i am unsure of how much we all pulled together to raise but as soon as i know i will tell everyone. in a feww weeks i am thinking of doing a charity week so get in touch with wha charties you want to raise money for, and i will get it sorted.
